Little Treasures Christian Learning Center is founded on the belief that every child is a uniquely created gift from God. Our mission is to love, encourage, and support each child’s spiritual, emotional, physical, and academic growth within a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
The Yost family are fifth-generation Dallasites with a long-standing reputation for integrity, generosity, and commitment to the local community. Their passion for children and dedication to faith-based education are the heart of Little Treasures. Our goal is to empower every child during these formative years and to partner with families as we help children develop a love for learning and a joy for life.

From our dedicated, nurturing staff and hands-on learning experiences to our secure, welcoming facility, every aspect of Little Treasures is intentionally designed to enrich each child’s mind, body, and spirit.
Our developmentally appropriate, child-centered, experiential approach to learning encourages children to grow in personal integrity and fulfillment while building critical thinking skills, cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Through meaningful, age-appropriate curriculum, children are given opportunities to explore, discover, and connect what they are learning in ways that support rich conceptual development and lifelong curiosity.
At Little Treasures Christian Learning Center, we care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. We are a full-time program, open year-round, serving families with consistency, excellence, and Christ-centered care.
We believe early childhood is a sacred season of growth, discovery, and trust. At Little Treasures, families are an essential part of our community, and we strive to partner closely with parents through open communication, prayer, and shared commitment to each child’s success.
What curriculum do we use?
At Little Treasures Christian Learning Center (LTCLC), we have carefully chosen The Creative Curriculum for a whole host of reasons. The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive early childhood educational system that has been proven to promote the cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical development of young children. The Curriculum meets all of the assessment standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the National Association of State Early Childhood Specialists in State Departments of Education (NASECS/SDE).
The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Three to Five year olds is based on the latest research on how children learn best and has been shown through experimental and quasi-experimental studies to improve classroom quality and promote the school readiness of preschool children. Four rigorous independent studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of The Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Each found positive effects that range from improved classroom quality to stronger academic and social skills. Two of the studies that found positive effects were part of the Preschool Curriculum Evaluation Research (PCER) grants sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.
We’ve chosen this curriculum over others because it is activity as well as creativity based. It allows the child to learn by actively engaging with the teacher, and then transitions them to independent activities. Sight, sound, smell, touch and hearing are all incorporated into daily lessons which take advantage of true hands-on activities. It’s exciting for the child and teacher alike!
